35 parties keen on final phase at Lohas Park

<p>MTR Corporation (0066) has received 35 expressions of interest from developers for the 13th and final phase of Lohas Park in Tseung Kwan O.</p><p>The site, which could potentially accommodate 2,550 flats, is valued at HK$8.51 billion to HK$15.47 billion, or HK$5,500 to HK$10,000 per buildable square foot.</p><p>The project drew interest from developers such as Sun Hung Kai Properties (0016), New World Development (0017), CK Asset (1113), Country Garden (2007) and Longfor (0960). MTRC will kick off tendering next week.</p><p>MTRC also expects to open the second phase of The Lohas, the first shopping mall at Lohas Park, in November, after opening the first phase last month.</p><p>The first phase of the shopping mall involves 13 shops, including a supermarket covering 20,000 sq ft of space, along with restaurants, homeware stores, clinics and pharmacies.</p><p>In the same district, CK Asset has received about 900 checks for the 285 units on offer at Sea to Sky, or about twice oversubscribed.</p><p>In Tin Shui Wai, SHKP received about 2,200 checks for the 165 units on offer on Saturday at Wetland Seasons Park Phase 3 - an oversubscription of about 12 times. SHKP will offer 192 units at the project for sale on Saturday, including 165 in price lists and 27 to sell by tender.</p><p>Meanwhile, a homebuyer forfeited deposits of HK$880,000 after calling off the purchase of a 302-sq-ft flat at Downtown 38 in To Kwa Wan, which was offered at HK$5.86 million, or HK$19,422 per sq ft.</p><p>Luk Fook Holdings (International)&#39;s (0590) Wong family bought a 1,167-sq-ft flat at Providence Bay in Tai Po for HK$15 million, or HK$12,853 per sq ft, local media reports.</p><p>This came after deputy chief executive Nancy Wong Lan-sze purchased a 2,617-sq-ft luxury house at The Beverly Hills in Tai Po for HK$30 million, or HK$11,464 per sq ft about five months ago, and deputy chairman Danny Wong Ho-lung bought a 1,672-sq-ft flat at Seanorama in Ma On Shan for HK$24.53 million, or HK$14,671 per sq ft in June.</p><p>In other secondary transactions, a 179-sq-ft flat at Novi in Mong Kok changed hands for HK$3.65 million, or HK$20,391 per sq ft, after HK$350,000 was cut from the original asking price.</p><p>In Southern District, a 1,103-sq-ft flat at Residence Bel-air fetched HK$26 million, or HK$23,572 per sq ft.</p><p>In Lai Chi Kok, a 1,098-sq-ft flat at Mei Foo Sun Chuen sold HK$15.43 million, or HK$14,053 per sq ft.</p>
